The website of Bloo Lagoon Eco Sustainable Village has just launched today. The website is dedicated for booking online where customer can now book online directly and also check the availability to see if your villas are available on the requested date. The old website (http://www.bloolagoon.com) is the official website and still operable as well as this blog. The design is simple and minimalist to make page loading fast and we try to make a booking process simpler.

We hope the addition of this new website will bring more business and make it easy for our customer to make booking. We provide 3 (three) method of payment for booking that is credit card on file, Paypal and currently under process is 2checkout.com. The good news is now people can only paying deposit only 20% from total sum to guarantee thus secured their booking.

Please watch out for a surprise discount which will be shown on the second screen when you continue and follow the booking process. Please visit the website and check the availability often to see the surprise discount. No one knows when your lucky number shown and you win the lotto!

We will slowly replace the existing cumbersome booking engine currently in operation on our official website at www.bloolagoon.com and thus safe a little bit our booking cost.

She is an excellent Indian chef who work in the famous Gaja Biru restaurant in Ubud before opening her own Warung Little India in Jalan Hanuman. She grows her own Indian spices and herbs and comes in Bloo Lagoon to share a piece of her culture and cooking passion with us…

The Evening Show includes art and photography of T-House in Lodtunduh, Ubud. Images of the people and the land reflected through the prism of these artist’s imaginations. Also music by Gregory Haggard composed at T-House, Lodtunduh. This music includes live gamelan and suling performances by local musicians combined with electronics. The sounds will resonate with your own experience of hearing the gamelan as you walk past a temple or hear it wafting across the rice fields. Altogether, the exhibit and program is a collaboration and vision of combining the arts to express the wonder and beauty one experiences in the village of Lodtunduh at the T-House.

Rehane Abrahams and the Firefly Theatre Company will present William Shakespeare’s “The Tempest” at the Bloo Lagoon Outdoor Amphitheatre in Padang Bai, East Bali

The play will be presented on Sunday, June 5, 2011 at 5:30 p.m. at the Bloo Lagoon Village

Cost of performance and access to the pool beforehand is Rp. 100,000 (US$11.40) for adults and Rp. 50,000 (US$5.70) for children.

Performance and dinner costs Rp. 200,000 (US$22.70) for adults and Rp. 100,000 (US$11.35) for children.

Rehane Abrahams has a BA and performers Diploma from the University of Cape Town, South Africa and has been working as a professional actor and theatremaker for the past 20 years. A published playwright, her work is studied in the contemporary South African theatre module at universities in South Africa. She is also an educator and has worked with at risk and differently-abled students in South Africa, in Somerset, England and the Bay Area. She has started numerous theatre companies including Mothertongue, of which she is co-founder and co-director and is director of theatre fireFLY based on Bali.

Since it’s inception in 2009 with A Midsummer Night’s Dream, fireFLY has staged five productions which include Attar’s Conference of the Birds,Turning the Ear- The Descent of Inanna and Oscar Wilde’s The Star Child.

Professional surfer Claire Bevilacqua has just visited Bloo Lagoon recently and spent her 2 days of fun and enjoy full view of the ocean and volcano from her villa located on the cliff.

Here is her comment about Bali “It is beautiful to see, even with our strong Western influence, that they still have managed to hold on to their colourful culture for future generations to appreciate. It’s no surprise that Bali has become a leading destination for health retreats and yoga.”

Claire Bevilacqua was born on 29 January 1983. Her nickname “Bevo” is a professional surfer from Perth, Australia. Her mother is Australian while her father is Italian. In 2003, she was crowned as the Australian Junior Women’s Champion. In 2005, she joined the World Championship Tour (WCT) of the Association of Surfing Professionals, finishing with a 10th ranking. Since turning pro she has won several competitions including The Outer Banks Pro in North Carolina, The Hello Kitty Boardfest at Huntington Beach, California and the 2009 Pipepline Pro. Bevilacqua finished the 2006 WCT season with a #6 ranking. Bevilacqua was also voted onto the Nixon Surf Team.

INSPYA is a short word from Integrated South Pacific Yoga Academy – a dynamic blend of balance, strength, flexibility and endurance. The owner and also the director is Lance Schuler born on 27 July1957 – has been teaching yoga for 20 years and also has special interests in martial arts, acrobatics and meditation. Lance qualified as an Iyengar yoga instructor with the Australian School of Yoga in Sydney. The Inspya team now conducts teacher training programs and workshops all over Asia, Europe and the South Pacific.

Bali Art Retreats

Bloo Lagoon Village has co-operate with well known Sydney Artist Gabrielle Jones to commence an Art Workshop in September this year. She has a particular fondness for the Balinese, their spirituality, their natural sense of beauty and their connection to their island and the way it informs every aspect of their lives.

She and her husband has visited Bloo Lagoon in 2010 and after experiencing our products and services decided to arrange a workshop. She impressed with our place and the beautiful scenery of the magnificent view over the top hill from Bloo Lagoon.
